The following samples are from the 1980s, when Jill Lewis-Kelly was the publications manager for a regional book distributor in San Francisco.  As managing editor of this company's quarterly magazine/catalog, Lewis-Kelly interviewed regional authors about recent works and the writing life.  Fortunately San Francisco had a wealth of great writers at that time (and still does!).
